Career Clusters

All academies at the CAC strive to provide our students with opportunities and resources to explore their potential in areas of interest related to the Kansas Career Fields and Clusters Model. At JCHS, we promote college and career readiness, encouraging our students to take ownership of their future by offering rigorous courses, establishing relevantreal-world connections, and maintaining positive classroom relationships.

One goal of the career academy structure is to provide students with opportunities to explore their college and career-related interests in one of three career clusters within our academy:

Within these clusters, students participate in field trips, job site visits, in-school training sessions, and college visits.  In addition, students can hear from career professionals in the fields of study they plan to pursue, and they can get on-the-job training by participating in a job shadow or internship experience. With hope, students will leave our campus better prepared to enter the post-secondary world!

**If you have expertise in any of our academy's career cluster areas and you wish to present/volunteer,
please don't hesitate to contact our academy staff. We'd love to have you!
