Congratulations to our Team 3 Social Studies teacher, Ashley Reinert, who has been selected as the district’s Kansas Teacher of the Year secondary nominee for the 2017 Kansas Teacher of the Year Award. The Kansas Teacher of the Year Award recognizes and utilizes representatives of excellent teaching in the elementary and secondary classrooms of the state. Its mission is to build and utilize a network of exemplary teachers who are leaders in the improvement of schools, student performance, and the teaching profession.
Allie Ronnebaum, 6th grade social studies teacher at Fort Riley Middle School was selected from Region 1 to receive the prestigious Kansas 2016 Horizon Award for distinguished educators who have completed one year of teaching.
