What is Skyward Family Access?
Family Access is a secure internet-based website that will allow you to easily keep track of nearly everything your student does while at school. Among other things, this new service will allow you to view your student’s attendance, grades, schedule, food service balance, bus route information, assignments, and emergency information.

How do I get access Skyward Family Access?
Parents/guardians will need to obtain a username and password. You can either email your school secretary for your login information or go to your student’s respective school. With a valid ID they will provide  you with your login information.

You can also access it by going to the and click on the Skyward link in the middle of the page

Do I need to Install Anything on my Computer?

What happens if I forget my user ID or password?
You can click on the “Forgot your Login/Password?” link to find out how to reset your password.

Can I access Skyward Family Access from anywhere (home, work, library, etc.)?
Yes, you can access Skyward Family Access from anywhere you have access to a computer with internet access.

You can also access this information through your mobile device through a free Skyward mobile app available for download through iTunes App store. It will work with your iPad, iPad Touch, or iPhone. The Skyward mobile app will also work with your Android mobile devices and can be downloaded through Google Play or  the Amazon Appstore.

How do I add/change/correct my personal information (mailing address, email address or telephone numbers)?
Please notify the school secretary of your respective school.

What if a report card shows a wrong grade(s) for my child/children?
Please contact that student’s teacher.

Who can I talk to regarding attendance related issues?
Please contact the principal of your student’s school.

What information is available to parents/guardians in the Parent Portal?
Attendance, grades, schedule, food service balance, progress, assignments, bus route information, and emergency information

How do I add money to my child's account?

  • Login to Skyward Family Access
  • Select “Food Service” from the General Information menu on the left
  • View Balance and select “Make Online Payment
  • Enter payment amount and click “Pay with RevTrak
  • You will be redirected to the Geary County Schools Web Store
  • Verify payment amount and select “Go to Checkout
  • If you are a new customer, select “I am a new customer” and enter your email address (you will create a password later). If you are a returning customer, select “I am a returning customer” and enter your email address and password.
  • Select Sign in
  • Enter your Billing Information, Payment Information, and create a password
  • Verify information for accuracy and select “Complete Order
  • Payment will be processed and Receipt can be viewed and printed
